Verbal Behavior Acquisition
Verbal Behavior teaches communication and language based on behaviorist B.F. Skinner's theories. Common goals include teaching appropriate forms of communication, such as requesting desired items and labeling common items.
School Consulting
Ambico Behavior works with educational teams to promote our client's success across environments. Ambico Behavior consults with teachers and the IEP team to ensure appropriate goals and interventions are applied in the school setting. Ambico Behavior's clinicians are also available to provide support on a 1:1 basis in schools. Ambico Behavior Clinicians have Vendor IDs to enter into Miami Dade County Public Schools.
Daily Living Skills
Ambico Behavior helps your child to engage in daily living skills successfully and confidently. Daily living skills can include handwashing, toothbrushing, and dressing, to name a few.
Family Consulting
Ambico Behavior works closely with all of our families. During family consultation sessions, families can expect to be coached through behavior reduction and skill acquisition interventions to meet the needs of your child and family.
Toileting Teaching
Ambico Behavior targets toileting with its young learners. Have you attempted to potty train to no avail? We can help! Ambico Behavior uses evidence-based practice to help our learners engage in appropriate toileting behaviors.
Academic Coaching
Ambico Behavior uses evidence-based interventions to help your child attend to tasks, complete homework without tears, and initiate school work without a fuss.
